Rodolfo Lacquaniti is a bio-architect and an artist, presenting himself to the public with different languages
of contemporary art, such as sculpture, installations, video-art, painting, performance, music, photography,
word, gesture, live arts, poetry and suggests a thought on the modern consumption society.
The moment of meditation starts from the energetic impoverishment that afflicts contemporary man.
Lacquaniti’s creative vision is based on the reutilization of objects, waste and rubbish that assembled
together become an universal form of art. The artist introduces an installation entitled The garbage
revolution: “Mutants H202 of last generation have assembled among the waste of the “mountain”. They
are the metropolitan scar, the urban wrinkle of the rebel garbage dump.”
Rodolfo Lacquaniti has created an artistic garden called Viaggio di Ritorno, surrounded by the greenery of
the Maremma in Castiglione della Pescaia. Among the many works it was also the setting for the movie
called “La Storia di Sonia” by Lorenzo Guarnieri, for which he was awarded the Los Angeles Movie Award in
the Best Production Design category.
